TULSA, Oklahoma -
Tulsa police say two people took justice into their own hands and turned a hard-working man into a victim. Police detectives believe this is a case of mistaken identity and they have a message.
The police report states Randy Brock and Kimberly King saw someone burglarizing their car at a motel near 27th and Sheridan.

The thief drove off in a truck, so Brock and King chased him north, but lost him. Ten minutes later, they thought they spotted him again at Memorial and East Admiral.
"All of a sudden, I got rear-ended and then he came out swinging," said John, who asked us not to reveal his real name. "I thought I was still dreaming. I didn't know. I was like, maybe there's a candid camera around here or something."
John was heading to work at the American Airlines Wheel and Brake Center just before 6 a.m. when police say a car rammed his truck into a pole at the gate.
Tulsa Police say Kimberly King was driving and her passenger, Randy Brock, got out and screamed at John.
"'You're going to jail, you're going to jail.' I'm like, ‘for what? For what? I just woke up. I'm going to go to jail for waking up?'"
John says Brock was punching him and accusing him of stealing things. When police arrived, officers handcuffed John while they investigated.
They decided John was not the burglar and the couple must have followed the wrong truck. Police arrested King on a complaint of assault and battery with a deadly weapon and Brock on a complaint of assault and battery.
Sergeant Dave Walker says the suspects are lucky John wasn't armed, because he could have claimed self-defense.
"I think if it was me and I had a gun, I'd consider using it. Really, is your stuff worthy of getting killed over?" Walker said.
John says he's sore from the collision, but what hurts the most is the fact that the truck may be totaled.
"My father passed away about three weeks ago and my mom handed it down to me and it's real sentimental to me," he said.
Looking back, he says he wishes it was just a dream.
John has doctor appointments Wednesday to look at his injuries. Meanwhile, Randy Brock is still in the Tulsa County Jail and Kimberly King has bonded out.
