A late push from the Iowa State Cyclones send the Oklahoma Sooners to an 80-69 loss Saturday, riding the wave of three-point shooting, sending the Sooners to their 11th conference loss of the season, their sixth consecutive.

The Cyclones hit 11 of their 22 three-point attempts in the win, including five from Scott Christopherson and four from Chris Allen, while shooting 51.9 percent of their shots from the floor in the win.

Oklahoma played it tight for the majority of the game, trailing by just six points with 11 minutes left to play, but that's the point where the Cyclones put together a big run to effectively put the game away. Iowa State strung together a 13-0 run over the next two minutes, including eight from Christopherson, to take a 59-41 lead with 8:43 left to play.

At that point, Oklahoma was only able to cut the lead back to 11 points, thanks to a last-second jumper from Cameron Clarke as time expired to cut the lead to 80-69.

Christopherson set the pace for the game, finishing with a game-high 25 points, while Allen notched 16 points and Melvin Ejim finished with a double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing 14 boards in the win.

The Sooners had five players score in double-figures, combining for a whopping 60 points, but were unable to get a defensive stop to keep the game close.

The Sooners will try to stop the bleeding with a Bedlam matchup at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Lloyd Noble Center.
