Woman Robs OKC Check Cashing Store

Oklahoma City Police have released a surveillance photo of a woman suspected of robbing a checking cashing store Thursday on the southwest side.

Oklahoma City Police have released a surveillance photo of a woman suspected of robbing a checking cashing store Thursday on the southwest side.

The suspect walked into the Check into Cash store at 1620 S.W. 89th Street and handed a piece of paper to the clerk. The note explained this was a robbery and demanded cash.

The employee complied with the demand and handed over the cash. The suspect then left the business.

No one was hurt.

A surveillance camera pointed at the parking lot captured pictures of the suspect. Police describe her as a white woman in her early 30s, 5 feet 2 inches tall, and approximately 190 pounds. She has brown hair which was pulled into a ponytail during the robbery.
