STILLWATER, Oklahoma – OSU has had a recent history of beating highly-ranked Baylor teams in Gallagher-Iba Arena.

But this Baylor team was No. 1, undefeated and wasn't about to let that change.

Brittney Griner and the Bears easily topped the Cowgirls 83-52 on Wednesday night in Stillwater, keeping their record at a flawless 26-0 (13-0 Big 12) while Oklahoma State fell to 13-9 (5-8).

Two times in the past four years, a top-five ranked Baylor team had come to Gallagher-Iba Arena and been upset. Baylor also had a losing record in Stillwater coming into Wednesday night's game.

Griner would hear none of it, however, leading all scorers and rebounders with 28 and 10 to go along with six blocks.

On the other side, the Cowgirls' leading scorer in Taylor Schippers led OSU with just 11 points and Liz Donohoe was the only other Cowgirl in double figures with 10.

OSU hung with the Bears early, including an 8-6 lead early in the game.

Baylor, however, immediately responded with a dominating 17-2 run and never looked back, keeping the lead in double digits for the remainder of the game.

Oklahoma State isn't the only team to suffer the wrath of the Bears, however, as Baylor's past eight victories in Big 12 play have all been by margins of 20-plus.

BU more than doubled up on Oklahoma State's shooting percentage from the field at 55-21.

It outrebounded the Cowgirls 43-33 and outscored them by a huge 46-16 margin in the paint.

OSU has hit a rough stretch, losing its second straight and its fifth in the past six games.

Though things can't get any harder than taking on No. 1 Baylor, they won't get any easier either as the Cowgirls will look to bounce back against No. 13 Texas A&M.

That game comes on the road in College Station and will tip off at 7 p.m. on Saturday at 7 p.m.
