OSBI Agents Find Victim's Car In Choctaw Murder Case

A driver found Robert Lynn Coy dead alongside a Choctaw road Tuesday morning. Police said his 2002 gold Mercedes-Benz is missing.

UPDATE:  The OSBI says it has found the car belonging to a Choctaw man who was murdered Tuesday.

Jessica Brown with the OSBI said they received a call from the Oklahoma City Police Department that they had located the vehicle which belonged to Robert Lynn Coy.  The car was found at 1449 N.E. 14th Street.

The vehicle was impounded by the OSBI and taken to their storage facility. 

Brown said the car will be processed for evidence Thursday.

 

Jessica Brown with OSBI stated they got a call from OCPD this evening stating they have located the vehicle agents were looking for in the Choctaw Murder at 1449 NE 14th Street. The vehicle was impounded by the OSBI and taken to their storage where it will be processed tomorrow.

 

The OSBI is investigating the murder of a Choctaw man and needs help in finding the victim's car.

A driver found Robert Lynn Coy dead alongside a Choctaw road Tuesday morning. Police said his 2002 gold Mercedes-Benz is missing.

The car is a C-320 with an Oklahoma tag of 384AXQ. Agents believe Coy died sometime between midnight and sun-rise on Monday, February 13. They believe his car went missing at the same time.
