Court Hearing Held For Husband Of Murdered Blanchard Mom

The husband of murdered Blanchard mother, Jaymie Adams, heads to court on Wednesday.

Justin Adams appeared before the judge via video. Adams is now officially charged with two counts of first degree murder. One count for his wife, the other for her unborn child.

After the charges were read to him, Adams said "thank you" to the judge.

The Medical Examiner said Jaymie was stabbed several times and had blunt force trauma to her head. She was found dead in January near Lake Stanley Draper.

Court documents show police believe Justin lied to them and referred to Jaymie in the past tense.

The judge also denied Adams bond. He will remain behind bars in the Oklahoma County Jail. His next court appearance is set for March 1.
