Shawnee Woman Arrested In Stabbing Death Of Another Woman

SHAWNEE, Oklahoma -

A Shawnee woman is in jail for allegedly stabbing and killing another woman.

Witnesses said they saw Heather Checotah chasing Gina Swain with a knife. Witnesses told police they saw Checotah stab Swain and then run the other direction.

Police said Swain was unresponsive and had blood on her shirt when they arrived. She was taken to the hospital where she later died.

No word on what led to the attack.
