Two Men Arrested In Tulsa Arson Investigations

Tulsa fire investigators have made two arrests in connection to house and apartment fires.

Two men are in custody in connection to Tulsa arson investigations. Emmanuel Chicon and George Wayne Reibert are in Tulsa County Jail Sunday, according to a release from the Tulsa Fire Department.

Chicon, 23, was booked on a complaint of first degree arson. Investigators believe he is responsible for an apartment fire at in the 1100 block of South Quincy that caused about $1,000 damage to one of the eight units.

That fire temporarily displaced a Tulsa family.

Chicon is being held on a $20,000 bond.

Reibert, 39, was arrested on a third degree arson warrant for a fire in an unoccupied house at 2321 North Quaker Avenue. A search of Oklahoma prison records shows that Reibert has served time for a previous arson conviction.

Reibert's bond was set at $10,000.

TFD Public Information Officer Stan May said a third arson, at an unoccupied house in the 1300 block of East Ute, is still under investigation. The fire was started in the northeast corner of the 1,200 square foot home's living room and caused over $10,000 in damages.
