Tulsa Police are investigating what they're calling a home invasion and robbery gone bad. It happened just after 10 p.m. Thursday in West Tulsa.

The couple are in a Tulsa hospital and the gunmen are still on the loose.

All police have at this point is two men were seen running from the home in the 500 block of North 41st West Avenue. This is after they went into the house demanding money.

When Tulsa Police arrived they found a 28-year-old man on the front porch shot twice, in the leg and torso.

"The shooting actually occurred inside the residence. There was a great deal of blood inside the living room area," said Tulsa Police Sgt. Clint Roberts.

A 26-year-old woman, who was the second shooting victim was found inside the home, she was shot in the leg.

EMSA took both to the hospital.

Investigators say both victims are parents of an 7-year-old boy, who was also in the house at the time of the shooting. Tulsa Police say he able to run to a neighbor's house and call for help.

Police recovered a large amount of marijuana in the house, but at this point they couldn't say whether this was related to the shooting.
