Students Escape Attempted Abduction In South OKC

Posted: Updated:

Three kids say they were nearly abducted on their way to school Thursday morning.

According to a letter sent out to parents of Bodine Elementary, three students, two 4th graders and one kindergartner, were walking on Madera Street behind MetroTech's South Bryant Campus when they say someone tried to abduct them.

The kids got away and are safe.

They say the suspect was driving a brown, four door, newer model car with tinted windows and standard wheels. The suspect is a black male in his 20's with a skinny mustache. He was wearing a black doo rag and a red or black NY hat.

If you see anyone fitting this description, please contact the Oklahoma City Police Department immediately.

Staff with the school are on alert and looking for suspects and vehicles fitting that description.

The school is also advising parents to have that stranger danger talk with your children.
