No More Double Dipping: Jack's Chunky Guac
Ingredients:
4 ripe avacodos, chopped in large chunks (keep seed)
2 large tomatoes, chopped and seeded
1/2 cup onion, chopped
jalapeno, chopped
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
salt and pepper
Juice of 1/2 lime
Directions:
Place avocado, tomatoes, onion and jalapeno in a medium sized bowl. Toss together. Add cilantro, lime and salt and pepper to taste. Place the avocado in the serving bowl and place prepared guac on top. The seed will keep the guac from turning brown quickly!
Tropical Pico
Ingredients:
1 mango, chopped
1 small can pineapple tidbits
1 cup tomato, chopped
1/4 cup red onion, chopped
3 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
jalapeno, to taste
Juice of one lime
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a medium sized bowl. Toss together and serve!
To make the cups see on News9 simply use the small clear plastic tumblers. Place 1/2 of the guac and pico in each. Garnish with cilantro and serve with chips!
