Lexington City Manager Put On Leave Following Arrest

LEXINGTON, Oklahoma -

The mayor of Lexington, Oklahoma, called an emergency meeting with the city council Monday night after the city manager was arrested for domestic assault.

Police arrested Jason Orr Saturday, January 28. According to Cleveland County court documents, he grabbed his wife and shoved her during an argument.

During an emergency meeting Monday, the mayor and city council discussed the arrest and decided to place Orr on paid administrative leave.

Orr took office just two weeks ago.
