FOREST PARK, Oklahoma -

The Forest Park Police Department is searching for a missing woman who was seen running naked through a neighborhood, and investigating a man accused of assaulting her.

Police arrested 53-year-old Paul Rich at his home. Witnesses told investigators they saw a bleeding, naked woman in the 3900 block of N. Coltrane Road on Sunday, January 29. They said the woman was arguing with Rich outside his house. They said at one point, Rich lunged at the woman with a pair of scissors, and the woman tried to run for help. Witnesses told police he caught her and led her away. That's when neighbors called the police.

Forest Park Police arrived at the scene just after 8:35 a.m., but could not find the woman or Rich. They also said Rich's car was gone.

Police said Rich returned to the house about an hour later, but he was alone and would not give them any information about the missing woman. Police searched the home, and found evidence of an assault.

Officers arrested Rich on complaints of kidnapping, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. They also arrested him on a first-degree rape complaint from an unrelated case that happened on January 24 in Forest Park.

Police said the missing woman's name may be Donna or Diana. She's described as African American and 45 to 50 years old. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call (405) 869-2501.

(News 9 note: Forest Park Police called to correct the time originally given in a news release. Police arrived at the residence at 8:35 a.m. on January 29, and Paul Rich returned to his home on the same day at 9:34 a.m.)
