OSBI Investigates Pittsburgh County Death

The Pittsburgh County Sheriff's Office has requested the OSBI's help in investigating a suspicious death that occurred Sunday afternoon.

The sheriff's office says firefighters were called to a fire at 11021 E. Sunset Shores near the Elm Point Recreation Area near Krebs.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze and discovered a man's badly burned body inside.

The condition of the body caused the sheriff's office to call OSBI investigators.

The medical examiner's Tulsa office will perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.  The ME's office has also been asked to confirm the victim's identity.
