TULSA, Oklahoma -

A Tulsa woman came home early Friday morning to find a car had slammed into the side of her home late Thursday.

Neighbors tell Tulsa Police three people ran away after the crash near 51st and Sheridan at about 9 p.m.

Police investigated the crash, then had the car towed away, but could not find the homeowner.

When the homeowner arrived just after midnight, she called police and officers explained to her what had happened.

The three people in the car have not been found.

Tulsa Police say the car was reported stolen earlier this week from a nearby home after the owner had left it running while getting ready for work.
