Silver Alert Issued For Missing Logan County Elderly Woman

LOGAN COUNTY, Oklahoma -

Authorities in Logan County issued a silver alert for an 81-year-old woman who went missing some time early Tuesday morning or Monday night.

Alberta Ann Norton was last seen wearing jeans, a cream-colored Southwestern jacket, and black shoes. She stands 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. She has white, reddish hair.

According to the Logan County Sheriff's Office, Norton lives with her daughter, and some time in the middle of the night, she left her house through a window. Police think she's on foot and could be headed to Edmond.

Norton suffers from Alzheimer's. She doesn't have a phone or a car.
