Police Search Vehicles Believed To Be Used By Jaymie Adams' Murder Suspect

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Search warrants filed Tuesday reveal that police are searching two vehicles believed to be used by the suspect or suspects in the murder of pregnant mother of three, Jaymie Adams.

Police say, that in a phone interview with Jaymie Adams' mother-in-law, Tina Clark, investigators learned Clark's car was used by Justin Adams the day Jaymie disappeared. Clark tells police that her son, Justin Adams, asked Clark to use her car (which police say is owned by Clark's parents) the same day Jaymie went missing. According to search warrants, Clark says Justin wanted the car in order drive to a Southeast Side McDonald's where Justin believed Jaymie was located. Clark tells police she drove Justin to the McDonald's where Jaymie's abandoned van was found by the duo.

A second search warrant has been issued for Jaymie's van.

Police believe they will find blood, blood stained articles, biological fluids and secretions, cutting tools, and instruments capable of producing blunt force trauma injuries in both vehicles. A returned inventory on Clark's car shows investigators took swabbings, insurance verification, and medical papers from the car. Investigators took four soil samples from Jaymie's van.

Search warrants reveal that on January 5, Justin's brother, Josh Adams, told police he transported Clark to her parents' house to retrieve her car.

Police say they have probable cause to believe both vehicles were used by the suspect(s) of the crime.

Jaymie Adams went missing on December 10, 2011. She was found dead near a bike trail on January 7, 2012 with trauma to her body. Police are calling her death a homicide. Since Jaymie's disappearance and before her death, Justin Adams told police he and his wife had a history of swinging with individuals from Craigslist. Justin also says his wife had been exchanging sexual favors with men from Craigslist for cash. Justin tells police Jaymie was set to meet up to three men the day she vanished. Justin has admitted to police he also solicited men on Craigslist.

Police have not officially named Justin Adams as a suspect in his wife's murder, but Justin's attorney says police are treating Justin as a suspect.
