Tulsa Businessman Rings NYSE Opening Bell Friday

The CEO of Rose Rock Midstream, L.P. in Tulsa celebrated the company's listing on the New York Stock Exchange Friday morning with the traditional ceremony of ringing the Opening Bell.

The CEO of Rose Rock Midstream, L.P. in Tulsa celebrated the company's listing on the New York Stock Exchange Friday morning with the traditional ceremony of ringing the Opening Bell in New York City.

"We are honored to ring The Opening Bell at the New York Stock Exchange. This is a great achievement for our company and we are excited to celebrate the future of Rose Rock Midstream," said Norm Szydlowski, Rose Rock Midstream CEO and Chairman.

In its news release, Rose Rock Midstream, L.P. says the new company was recently formed by SemGroup Corporation to own, operate, develop and acquire a diversified portfolio of midstream energy assets.

It is headquartered in Tulsa with the majority of its assets located in or connected to the Cushing, Oklahoma crude oil marketing hub.
