Smoke Grenade Found On OCU Campus

Posted: Updated:

The Oklahoma City Police Department has removed a smoke grenade from the Oklahoma City University campus.

The grounds crew found the device around 8 a.m. Thursday. Police searched the campus to make sure there were no other smoke grenades.

There were no evacuations and no one was hurt.

The grenade was never in danger of exploding, only of releasing a large cloud of smoke. Police don't know who planted the device, but they think it may have been a prank.
