Tulsa Men Arrested In Fatal Home Invasion

Five people have been arrested in connection with the death of a 66-year-old Tulsa man Monday evening during a home invasion robbery.

Five people have been arrested in connection with the death of a 66-year-old Tulsa man Monday evening during a home invasion robbery.

Tulsa Police arrested the five on complaints of first degree murder and armed robbery in the death of William Zachary.

The five are identified as DeAndre Wright, 16; Montre Brown, 18; Uriah Mitchell, 18; Marquis Powell, 18; and Darrelle Johnson, 27.   All five have been booked into the Tulsa County jail.

Tulsa Police received a call at around 8 p.m. about a home invasion, shooting in the 13300 block of East 36th Street.

Zachary was home when three men kicked in the back door and demanded money.

When he hesitated, one of the intruders shot Zachary in the face. He died at a Tulsa hospital.

Tulsa Police do not anticipate any more arrests in this case.
