OKC Police Seek Suspect In Dollar General Armed Robbery
OKLAHOMA CITY - Police are searching for a man who robbed a Dollar General store in southeast Oklahoma City Thursday afternoon.
It happened at a Dollar General store located at 33 S.E. 59th street in Oklahoma City.
According to police, a man walked into the store and demanded four quarters from the clerk twice, before revealing what the clerk said looked like a "sawed off" shotgun.The suspect then demanded all the money out of the cash drawer.
Police said the suspect became angry at one point and reached over the counter to grab the money from the cash drawer. He then fled the scene on foot.
According to police, the clerk's boyfriend followed the suspect out of the store and said the man went northbound on foot.
The suspect, police said, is about 20 to 30 years old and stands 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing dark sunglasses, a black skull cap, a two-toned gray jacket and dark pants.
