A Bethany family is trying to figure out how to patch up a huge hole in their home after a suspect crashed through the wall early Thursday morning.

Around 2:45 a.m., police tried to pull over a driver for speeding near N.W. 49th Street and Rockwell. Officers said the man refused to stop and that's when the pursuit began.

Officers chased the suspect for just a few minutes, but at one point the man rammed his car into a patrol car. As he was trying to get away, the suspect lost control and drove into a house near N.W. 35th and Hammond.

The suspect's car went right through a wall and into the living room where Alana Zobisch was sleeping.

"I woke up with a piece of debris hitting against my head," said Zobisch. "I really didn't even realize it until earlier. It hasn't really hit me. I'm really not comprehending it right now."

Four people were inside the home at the time of the crash. Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt.

The suspect was taken to a hospital. His condition is not known.
