An Oklahoma City police officer was hurt early Wednesday morning while chasing a suspect in northwest Oklahoma City.

Around 1 a.m., a woman approached the officer at a convenience store and accused a man of vandalizing her car. The officer got into his patrol car and followed the man, who was identified as 25-year-old Dione Prince. Police said Prince refused to pull over and a chase began.

Near N.W. 85th Street and Hudson, Prince jumped out of his car and attempted to run away. The officer quickly caught and arrested him, but during the chase the officer fell and received a bloody nose.

He was not seriously hurt.

Prince was booked into the Oklahoma County jail. Police said Prince was driving a stolen car and had drug warrants out for his arrest.
