Enid police have arrested a man who is suspected of making several telephone bomb threats to local businesses during the past few months.

James Charles Jacks, 25, was arrested Tuesday evening on a felony arrest warrant for five counts of making bomb threats through telephone. He's being held in the Garfield County Detention Center on $45,000 bond.

Police said Jacks is suspected of making two telephone bomb threats to Wal-Mart, as well as several other bomb threats to K-Mart, Showplex Cinemas, and I-Hop in the past few months.

According to police, detectives learned from Jacks' telephone records that the threats were made from a phone registered to him. Authorities said surveillance camera from one of the businesses involved captured Jacks using a cell phone, at the same time one of the bomb threats were made.
