The FBI announced Monday a man accused of robbing a bank in Midwest City and claiming he had a bomb surrendered to law enforcement in Carlisle, Arkansas.

Agents said 45-year-old Richard Charles Lockhart robbed the Bank of Oklahoma on Thursday, January 5. He's accused of handing the teller a note that read, "Give me the money in the drawer. I have a bomb."

The FBI released a surveillance photo of Lockhart and received numerous calls, which helped identify him.

Special Agent Clay Simmonds said Lockhart turned himself in on Sunday, January 8, but he doesn't know why Lockhart was in Arkansas.
