It started life as the Starlite Skate Rink and has been everything from a church to a flea market in the last few years.  But the iconic domed building on Route 66 in Sapulpa has gotten a new lease on life as The Route 66 Roller Dome.

The new skating rink opened in October of last year with a thoroughly modern flair.  There's new flooring, bright fluorescent carpeting on the walls and a thoroughly modern sound system.  There's a new snack bar and arcade.

The new floor is still there, and the new owners say it might make a reappearance at some point in the distant future.

But for now, the fun, as always, is still there.
