Two small earthquakes rattled central Oklahoma Thursday.

The 2.8 magnitude tremor shook residents just after 10 p.m. The epicenter was six miles west, northwest of Prague, six miles south, southeast of Sparks, and 43 miles east of Oklahoma City.

A 1.9 magnitude quake was recorded Thursday morning about six miles east of Oklahoma City.

Geologists say earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest that are felt by humans.
