Oklahoma State football added two new junior college signees Wednesday in Calvin Barnett and Blake Jackson.

Both have signed national letters of intent to play for the Cowboys and will enroll at OSU for the spring semester as well as take part in spring practice.

"We're excited to have Calvin and Blake join our program," Gundy said. "We have been after Calvin for years now and he brings some run-stopping and pass-rushing ability to our defensive line. We're excited about Blake's ability to present a mismatch for opposing defenses."

Barnett is a defensive tackle that comes to OSU from Navarro Community College in Corsicana Texas. In 2011 he was named a NJCAA All-American after logging 35 tackles (20 solo) five tackles for loss, two sacks, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries as a sophomore.

The 6'3 283 pound junior attended Tulsa's Booker T. Washington High School and was a 5A All-State honoree in 2009. He also was listed as the No. 1 high school recruit in the state of Oklahoma. Barnett had scholarship offers from Arkansas, USC, Florida, LSU, Oklahoma, UCLA, Oregon State and Texas Tech. He originally committed to Arkansas before he ended up at Navarro CC.

Meanwhile, Jackson comes to OSU from Gilbert Arizona where he attended Scottsdale Community College.

There he led the team with 62 catches for 934 yards and 16 touchdowns which earned him first-team All-America honors as a sophomore. His 62 catches ranked sixth nationally, his 934 yards were seventh in the nation and his 16 touchdowns were the third-most in the NJCAA ranks.

The 6'4 221 pound junior attended Gilbert high School where he played wide receiver and had long list of scholarship offers including Oklahoma, Georgia, Miami (Fla.), Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas Tech and many others.
