I'm sure it's just like anything that comes with small parts, a bag of bolts and screws and directions that only have diagrams: It can be frustrating when you try to figure out how it all goes together.
The crib was no different. Except this time, it was Nick struggling over how exactly it all comes together.
I came into the baby's room and it looked like the crib was done. Until Nick realized he needed bolts that he didn't have anymore. It turns out, he had already used them - we'll blame it on a bad diagram. So the whole thing had to be taken apart, the bolts retrieved and then put back together.
You can understand our alarm when we looked at the bag of parts and there were screws left over! Thank goodness they're for the toddler rails - whew!
It's amazing how just adding a crib can make it look like a baby's room. I still have a ways to go, but it's a start!
