A man is listed in critical condition at a Tulsa hospital after a home invasion robbery attempt in midtown Tulsa Sunday evening.

Tulsa Police say two men burst into a house in the 1600 block of East 8th Street and announced their intention to take a flat screen TV in the home shortly before 6:30 p.m.

The resident and his brother tried to fight off the robbers, when one of the robbers shot the 41-year-old brother in the side.

After the shooting, police officers say both robbers ran out the door and into a waiting car, minus the big screen TV.

EMSA says the man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Officers say one of the robbers called himself "Little Eleven."

Tulsa Police are looking for any information about the two robbers. If you know anything about the incident call Crime Stoppers at 918=596-COPS.
