Two Miami Men Killed In Head-On Collision

Troopers say two Miami men were killed when their pickups collided on a rainy highway Monday night.

Two Miami men were killed in a head-on collision on U.S. Highway 59 just before 8 p.m. Monday in Ottawa County. The wreck took place under rainy conditions about five miles west of Miami, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers say David Wesley Housh, 49, was eastbound in a 2003 Chevy pickup when his truck crossed the center line for an unknown reason. He hit a 2000 Ford pickup driven 24-year-old Justin Tyler Berry, also of Miami.

Both men died of massive injuries, according to the OHP collision report. Housh's condition at the time of the wreck is listed as unknown.

The family of Justin Berry says in lieu of flowers they asking for donations to the Justin Berry Memorial Scholarship at Welch State Bank.
