Crews Battle Edmond Mobile Home Fire

A mobile home on Rock Creek Drive in Edmond was destroyed by fire Sunday morning. The cause is under investigation, according to Oak Cliff Fire Chief Ken Stoops.

Fire crews were shifting through the ashes at a mobile home fire in Edmond Sunday. The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to Oak Cliff Fire Chief Ken Stoops.

Crews from several departments were called out to extinguish the flames shortly before 9 a.m. in the 600 block of Rock Creek Drive.

They tell News 9 that an elderly man lives in the mobile home, but neighbors were not sure if he was present at the time of the fire.

Oak Cliff County, Deer Creek, Woodcrest and Sooner fire departments were at the scene.
