The Oklahoma State Cowgirl basketball team remains undefeated on the season after an 80-57 victory over Missouri State Thursday night.

The Lady Bears (4-3) got out to a 17-15 lead after making five of their first 10 3-point shots, but Oklahoma State countered with a 10-0 run to take a lead they never looked back.

After the first half of play, the Cowgirls led 34-24. OSU limited the Lady Bears to a 29 percent shooting effort and forced nine MSU turnovers in the period.

Oklahoma State produced 10 points off turnovers in the first half alone and overpowered Missouri State inside, scoring 22 points in the paint compared to the Lady Bears six points.

MSU battled back to within eight early on in the second half, but OSU hit their first two three point shots on two possessions to extend the lead to 40-26.

The Lady Bears would once again cut the lead to nine, but OSU answered with eight-straight points and 15 of the next 19 to go up 57-37 and put the game out of reach.

Sophomore Tiffany Bias led the Cowgirls with 19 points, 11 assists and six steals for her second double-double of the season. Junior Toni Young came off the bench with 17 points and freshman Liz Donohoe and sophomore Kendra Suttles added 12 and 11 points, respectively.

In the second half, the Cowgirls shot 61 percent from the floor to finish at 50 percent for the contest.

MSU's Jasmine Malone led all scorers with 21 points. The Cowgirls limited MSU to just 30 percent success rate from the field and holding Naismith Trophy candidate Casey Garrison to four points on a 1-of-10 shooting night.

The Cowgirls will return to action on Dec. 18 when they host Texas-Pan American at 2 p.m. in Stillwater.
