Police: Tulsa Taxi Driver Stabs Passenger In Self Defense

A Tulsa taxi cab driver stabs a man in self defense after being attacked while driving down the road. Police say it happened around 2:30 Wednesday morning near 11th and Lewis.

Officers say the driver picked up a man, and on the way home, the passenger started attacking him.

The driver got a knife and stabbed the passenger in the leg and hand. The cabbie had bruising to his face.

Neither man was seriously hurt. The police did not make any arrests, saying they would turn the case over the Tulsa County District Attorney.
