A home front hero tied the knot in an unexpected way Tuesday. They found latte love in a Tulsa coffee shop.

A Green Country sailor and his bride decided to exchange their vows, in the same place they fell in love.

This is Eva McCarthy's big day. And she's planned everything down to the last detail. But this is no chapel or reception hall--it's the Starbucks at 51st and Harvard.

Eva wanted her wedding to reflect how her love story began.

"We've been coffee friends. We started out as coffee friends. And we fell in love over coffee," Eva said.

"Actually when we first met I'd drink it, but I wasn't' a big coffee drinker. But I said sure I'll go have coffee just so I could be with her," Carmine Capparello said.

Carmine Capparello says he fell in love with the woman across the table and the brewed beverage too. He proposed a month before war interrupted their latte love story.

The Navy deployed him to Iraq for 15-months. Eva says every week she would come to this Starbucks to meet her mom. And the baristas served up some comfort along with her coffee.

"It was like family. Everyone here is great. Words are so powerful," Eva said.

So when it came to tying the knot, they wanted a Starbucks soiree.

"From the very beginning we wanted to be part of it. This is where she and her mom had coffee every Tuesday while Carmon was deployed," said Jan Bethel, Starbucks manager. "So it was really important for us--as we love to support the community--to have this event."

So they shelved the coffee, closed the store, and served up a bridal party.

The bride braved the chilly temperatures in a convertible, shared a dance underneath the stars with her father and met her coffee companion down a make-shift aisle.

This is the first time that Starbucks has hosted a wedding.
