Edmond police need help identifying a man who tried to get drugs with a fake prescription at a Wal-Mart pharmacy.

The incident happened on October 30. Police said the man was caught on a surveillance camera at an Edmond Wal-Mart, located at 2200 West Danforth Road.

According to police, the pharmacist thought the prescription looked suspicious because it was from a doctor in south Oklahoma City, and it looked like the prescription had been copied. The pharmacy then told the man they'd have to get the prescription verified with the doctor, but the man left and never came back.

Police said the pharmacy then faxed a copy of the prescription to the doctor's office, who confirmed it was a fake copy. Police also believe the man used a fake name when he was trying to get the drugs.

If you recognize this man, call Edmond police at (405)-359-4477.
