Fire Destroys Home In Yukon

A homeowner managed to escape as flames swept through a house in the 1100 block of Ridgeway in Yukon Monday afternoon.

Firefighters from Yukon and Bethany raced to the house around 1 p.m. to find it fully engulfed in flames.  Crews spent an hour putting out the fire.

The house was destroyed.  Investigators don't know yet what started it.

The homeowner was able to escape the house unharmed and no one else was hurt.  Firefighters estimate the damage at $150,000.
