If you and your family are looking for ways to celebrate the Christmas season, the Frontier Country Marketing association has compiled a list of events in central Oklahoma.
Light Displays
Yukon's Christmas in the Park
This is an illuminated, self-guided, drive-through tour of four million lights, 360 lighted displays and music spanning 100 acres. It's free and runs nightly from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. through December 31.
Midwest City's Holiday Lights Spectacular
Joe B. Barnes Regional Park is transformed into a winter wonderland featuring more than one million twinkling lights, 80 displays and a 118-foot Christmas tree. It's free and runs nightly from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. though December 30.
Chickasha's Festival of Light
This is one of the top-rated light displays in the region and brings in more than 300,000 visitors each year. It features 3.5 million lights, along with hundreds of displays with music and movement. It's free and can be toured by car, carriage ride or foot. It runs through December 31 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. nightly.
Oklahoma City's Automobile Alley Lights on Broadway
This is part of Oklahoma City's Downtown in December celebration. Visitors can view lights on Broadway from 4th Street to 10th Street through January 1.

This event features a number of holiday activities, including an outdoor ice skating rink, snow tubing at RedHawks Field, a Segway Santa, free museum Sundays and free Water Taxi rides along the Bricktown Canal.
