Surveillance Cameras Snap Photos Of OKC Bank Robbery Suspect

A man caught on surveillance cameras is wanted by authorities in connection with a bank robbery in Oklahoma City Saturday morning.

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the robbery happened at approximately 11:45 a.m. at an Arvest Bank, located inside a Wal-Mart shopping center, at 6100 West Reno Avenue.

Officials said the man approached the teller counter and verbally demanded $100 bills. He even threatened that he had a weapon, but investigators said the weapon was not seen by anyone.

According to officials, the bank teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was last seen as a passenger in a 2003 or older model, gray or silver, Dodge Durango truck. Officials said it is unknown which direction the vehicle went after the robbery.

Luckily, no one was injured in the robbery.

Investigators said the suspect was described as a black male, in his late 20s to early 30s. He had a thin build, and he was wearing a white baseball style cap, a black hoodie jacket, and glasses.

The Oklahoma Banker's Association is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for any information leading to the identity and/or arrest of a person robbing a member bank, according to the FBI.
