It was certainly a dreary night, but that didn't stop hundreds of students from coming to the student center and attending Monday night's candle light vigil.

Despite having to be moved inside, the candle light vigil lost very little impact. The crowd, mostly students, was here to lean on each other.

"It doesn't surprise me at all how many people were here," said student Delaney Galloway. "OSU is definitely a family and we've supported each other through thick and think before."

The event was organized by the student government in an attempt to give the students an opportunity to mourn together.

"We are excited that we are to honor those, the families that were affected," said Kyle Beuthod. "It really brings the students together to reflect on that."

At the center of it all was the women's basketball team, who wrapped up the extremely emotional day together, now, trying to look forward.

And Monday night, the student body started a new tradition, every year at this time, they will light four wreaths here on the clock tower to remember those four lives lost.
