Justin Blackmon and Ryan Broyles, two of Oklahoma's finest receivers, have been named finalists for this year's Biletnikoff Award.

The list of eight semifinalists was narrowed to three Monday as OU's Broyles, Oklahoma State's Blackmon and USC's Robert Woods all made the cut.

Blackmon, who won the award last season, leads all three finalists in three point total categories with 103 catches, 1,241 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns. His 15 touchdowns is good for the most in the nation while he ranks second in the country in catches and is sixth in the nation with his 1,241 yard total.

The junior from Ardmore has recorded six games with 100 or more yards and he has scored one or more touchdown in every game but one. Despite only being a two-year starter for the Cowboys, Blackmon's 234 career receptions place him second on OSU's all-time list.

Blackmon's finalist nomination gives him the opportunity to win the award for the second straight year. The only other player to do so was Michael Crabtree in 2007 and 2008.

For Broyles, this is the second straight year he has been named a finalist for the award.

Broyles, who suffered a season-ending knee injury during the Texas A&M game, ended his collegiate career as the NCAA career receptions record holder with 349 career receptions. He is also No. 2 on the NCAA career receiving yards chart with 4,586 yards and his 45 career receiving touchdowns rank No. 4 in NCAA history.

This season, the senior from Norman, ranks No. 2 nationally with 128.6 receiving yards per game-the best among all BCS players, and No. 3 nationally with 9.2 receptions per game. On the year, Broyles has 83 receptions for 1,157 yards and 10 touchdowns along with 18 punt returns for 188 yards. The 2011 season marked the third consecutive season with at least 83 catches for Broyles after recording 131 in 2010 and 89 in 2009.

The Biletnikoff Award winner will be announced during that telecast of the College Football Awards show on Dec. 28 at 8 p.m.
