What you need to know…

Oklahoma has been hit with huge injuries in each of their last two games; first to running back Dominique Whaley, then to record-setting wide receiver Ryan Broyles. Both are done for the season, knocking out a significant portion of OU's offensive attack.

Luckily the Sooners had a bye week after Broyles' injury, which should have given them some time to adjust their approach on that side of the ball. There is not another receiver on the roster with Broyles' skill set, which likely will significantly alter OU's play calling.

Who you need to watch…

With Broyles out, Kenny Stills and Jaz Reynolds will become the keys for OU. Both have shown flashes of brilliance, but Stills has had injury problems and Reynolds has struggled with drops. Both will need to become more consistent to make up for Broyles' absence.

Running backs Roy Finch and Brennan Clay also will need to become more active in the passing game to help replace Broyles' ability to catch screens and turn them into big plays. With his favorite target out, Landry Jones also will need to make smart decisions and not try to force passes.

For Baylor, the entire offense revolves around quarterback Robert Griffin. He has only thrown interceptions in four games this season, and they resulted in the Bears' only three losses and the fourth was a near-loss to Kansas last week in overtime.

So the key for OU will be to keep Griffin uncomfortable in the pocket and not allow him time to throw. If he rushes passes, he is prone to make mistakes. And so far this season, the Bears have proven incapable of overcoming those mistakes.
