Edmond Police Seek Woman In Wheelchair, Man Who Used Stolen Checks

A woman in a wheelchair and a man caught on surveillance cameras are wanted by police in connection with a burglary that happened at a home in Cashion on October 25.

A woman in a wheelchair and a man caught on surveillance cameras are wanted by police in connection with a burglary that happened at a home in Cashion on October 25.

Police said the victim reported to Edmond police on November 6 that her checks were stolen from her home, and they were used at several stores in Edmond on October 26.

According to Edmond police, the victim was getting checks returned to her that the suspects allegedly used. The victim said she received returned checks from the FAA Credit Union that were used at Steinmart and Ross in Edmond for a total of $275.05.

Police said the victim also received returned checks that are being used in Kingfisher County and Oklahoma City.

According to police, one of the suspects is described as a woman with long brown hair who is around 30 years old. The woman was in a wheelchair, but police said it is unknown is she actually needs it or if it is a ploy. The other suspect is described as a man with short brown hair and a beard, who is around 30 years old. He appears to be average height and thin, police said.
