The Oklahoma Highway Patrol bomb squad at the request of Coweta Police sent its bomb squad unit to an apartment complex in Coweta Wednesday morning.

Coweta Police say their officers got a call at 10:30 a.m. from maintenance workers at the Garden Walk Apartments about what he thought were pipe bombs in an apartment.  Police responded and then called OHP's bomb squad.

Police say troopers deployed the OHP bomb robot and retrieved several suspicious devices.

The Garden Walk Apartments are located on 141st Street South, just west of State Highway 51.

Neighbors told News On 6, this is not the first time police have been to the complex because of similar incidents.
