Cab Driver Stabbed In Warr Acres

WARR ACRES, Oklahoma -- Warr Acres Police are searching for a man who slashed a cab driver in the throat and stole his taxi.

The cab driver was parked behind the Long John Silver's fast food restaurant around 11:50 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2. A man walked up to the cab and got in.

Police say the passenger and cab driver started arguing for an unknown reason. The passenger then reached over the seat and cut the victim.

The victim and his attacker jumped out of the taxi and started physically fighting. The attacker managed to get back into the cab and drove off.

The stolen taxi was found a few hours later near Wilshire and Lake Hefner. The attacker is still on the run.

The cab driver was taken to OU Medical Center. His condition is not known.
