Thunder Players Creatively Passing Time During Lockout

OKLAHOMA CITY -- While teammate Serge Ibaka is competing in the EuroLeague during the NBA Lockout, other Oklahoma City Thunder players are finding more creative ways to pass the time without basketball.

After two-time scoring champion Kevin Durant hit Twitter and set up a flag football game in Stillwater, other fans and players wished to get in on the action. Former high school quarterback, Eric Maynor, perhaps jokingly, agreed to play a game with some students in Norman.

Even LeBron James wants to get in on the action. The former NBA MVP claimed that football is "really his sport" and challenged Durant to a Team James vs. Team Durant football game in Ohio.

Sixth man James Harden went for a more low-key approach, taking time on a Friday night to visit a local high school football game. Harden was spotted at the Edmond Santa Fe game supporting the Wolves as they claimed both a city and a district title with a 10-point win over Edmond North.

Daequan Cook is about to join Harden in his trademark look, as he participates in "No Shave November." The movement, which started as an awareness campaign for prostate and other male-specific cancers, encourages men to forego shaving during November to raise awareness. Cook plans on tweeting daily updates on his progress as the month unfolds.

Center Nazr Mohammed has developed an uncommon hobby between workouts: paintballing. Between his kid's soccer games and handing out Halloween candy, the Thunder big man found time to enjoy his newly discovered pastime while unable to play NBA basketball.

The NBA Lockout has eclipsed the four-month mark and officially cut in to the NBA season, which was set to tip off Oct. 31.
