MUSTANG, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics wants to keep prescription pills out of the wrong hands.
OBN opened a permanent locked drop-off box at the Mustang police department on Tuesday.
Officials are working to put one in all 77 counties around the state through a free program.
"We want the unwanted, unused prescriptions out of the citizens cabinets and delivered to these boxes," said Darrell Weaver, OBN Director.
The drugs will be converted into clean energy by a Tulsa company.
