OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City Police said Tuesday morning two deaths in the northwest part of the city were the result of a murder-suicide.

Two teen girls found the bodies of their parents when they returned to their house in the 1800 block of N.W. 11th Street on Monday, October 31. Police say it appears 52-year-old Phonephet Chansombath shot his 48-year-old wife Thongdy Chansombath then turned the gun on himself.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Neighbors say the couple was well known in the community and active in their church.
