OKLAHOMA CITY -- Residents of one Oklahoma City neighborhood said burglars are terrorizing their block this Halloween.

Police have a clear picture of who's doing it thanks to home security cameras.

"You don't want to even go out at night because they stand on the corner and you never know," Frank Smart said.

Frank Smart is the only neighbor brave enough to say why everyone is so scared.

"Every house has been broken into except for mine," Smart said.

Neighbors all think the crime is coming across from the apartments behind their homes.

"No one wants to live here anymore and it used to be a good neighborhood," Smart said.

Neighbors said this used to be the block all the kids would come here to trick-or-treat. Now instead of kids, you'll see security signs, and this homeowner has even installed surveillance cameras.

One home's been broken into three times in the last two years; this time, Mark, Smart's neighbor, got a good look at the crooks stealing his TV.

Mark showed us the video he got showing two men knocking and pacing by his front door, even checking around the back as well.

Then, the video shows one of the men putting his hand on the camera lens; neighbors watching the video with us Saturday said it shows these guys don't care what they do to try and protect their homes.

"They have no fear, no fear at all. Because there's nothing you can do," Smart said.

The video timer shows, in a matter of 30 seconds, one of the men kick in the door, and he's in and out the back with Mark's 60 inch plasma TV.

Every time an alarm sounds on the block, neighbors know what happened and call police.

"We know what they look like now, but you can't apprehend them, police says you can't violate their rights but what about our rights?" Mark said.

They hope the guys will do the right thing and turn themselves in. But until then…

"I just sit and wait on ‘em just because my car ain't here don't mean I ain't," Mark said.

If they come knocking on Smart's door, He knows his rights too.

"If someone comes in, they'll have a tough time getting out, if they do get out," Smart said.

If you have any information or recognize those men, call Crime Stoppers at (405)-235-7300.
