OKLAHOMA CITY – On this week's Friday Night Roundup, News 9's Jessica Coody watched Heritage Hall cruise past Bethany and then was there as Edmond Santa Fe took the district title over Edmond North.

Everyone in Oklahoma knows just how special Heritage Hall's two star players are, but the nation had a chance to find that out for itself on Friday with a nationally televised game.

ESPNU was on hand to broadcast the Chargers and Bronchos as Heritage Hall came away with a 55-10 victory.

Much of the viewing audience was probably focused on Barry Sanders, Jr., who has yet to make a decision on where he will play college ball.

But receiver Sterling Shepard stole the show early, scoring four first half touchdowns – three receiving and one rushing. Shepard was recently named an Under Armour All-American.

Sanders topped 100 yards rushing – not a huge feat for him – but also added more than 100 yards receiving on just four catches.

Quarterback Quinn Shanbour threw for six touchdowns in the game.

Bethany will host Newcastle on Friday, while Heritage Hall will face Kingfisher in a game that will decide the district championship.

Meanwhile, Edmond Santa Fe didn't need any longer to claim a district championship, continuing its miraculous turnaround from last season with a 31-21 win over Edmond North on Friday.

The Wolves, who won only one game last season, have now lost only one game so far this year under coach Lance Manning.

Edmond North fumbled on three straight possessions, which led to several second-half scores for Santa Fe. The Wolves capitalized two straight possessions and led 24-3 at one point before going on to win.

Santa Fe has already clinched home field advantage for the early rounds of the playoffs but will finish out the regular season at Putnam City. Edmond North will host U.S. Grant to finish the regular season.
